Chance Marshall received the Distinguished Service Award (DSA) from the National Association of County Agriculture Agents (NACAA) during the 2024 Annual Meeting and
Professional Improvement Conference in Dallas, Texas on July 17.
NACAA is a nation-wide professional Extension organization established for Extension Educators/Agents and other professionals who work in agriculture, horticulture, forestry and natural resources, 4-H youth development, community development, and related disciplines.
The DSA is conferred on members who have worked in Extension for at least ten years,
are held in high esteem by their fellow workers, and have developed and put into effect
an outstanding Extension program. Marshall was one of several honorees who represent the top two percent of the membership selected by their peers.
Chance Marshall has been an Agriculture and Natural Resource educator since January 2014. He resides with his wife and two children in Lander, Wyoming. He specializes in assisting the University of Wyoming ag clientele with livestock production systems. Some of his highlight programs throughout his career include the Fremont County Farm and Ranch Days, Cattle Artificial Insemination schools, 307 Livestock Show clinics, the Lander Valley Garden Expo, and the Wyoming Ranch Camp program.
