(New York City, NY) – If part of your Thanksgiving tradition is to watch the Macy’s Parade in New York City, you’ll be delighted to see a familiar face to people of Fremont County and the state as a whole around 10 AM Eastern Time (8 AM Mountain Time) this Thursday.
George Abeyta and his grandson Ethanial Austin Brown (aka Baby E) will be dancing as part of Native Pride Productions.
“Thank you, Native Pride Productions, for the invitation to participate in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and represent Indigenous people everywhere. I don’t think I would have been invited if I wasn’t Baby E’s Papa,” Abeyta said. “The committee wanted to feature generations of Native dance performers. My grandson, Ethanial Austin Brown, is a seventh-generation Indigenous dancer/performer.”
“We’re so excited to see you all soon. In case you have some friends and family watching at home, I wanted to provide you with a 30-minute broadcast window. This is of course tentative and subject to change, but should give you a good estimate,” Macy Thanksgiving Parade Producers told Native Pride.
The 10 AM (8 AM our time) slot is considered “Prime Time” for the parade. Appearing in snippets throughout the Native Pride Productions performance are many nationally recognized performers, including:

“We will walk the two-and-a-half-mile route in the first 30 minutes of the parade,” Abeyta said. “Ethanial is six years old and a first grader at Fort Washakie elementary school. He has been a Fancy Dancer since he could walk.”
Joining the Native Pride Productions team of George and Ethanial is Baby Wambli, a seven-year-old international Powwow superstar.
Native Pride Productions performers George Abeyta and Ethanial Austin Brown are the latest Wind River Reservation talent to perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. In 2023, Abraham Thomas and Jermaine Bell performed “Worship” with their group Native Pride and Emmy Award-winning artist Jon Batiste.
