Meet Barnaby, an adventurous and loving dog! Barnaby is an absolute prince on a leash, walking gently without pulling. Barnaby does wonderful with all humans and dogs he encounters. In fact, we require he be placed in a home with a playful canine. He has a love for water and is an excellent swimmer, making him a great companion for outdoor activities. In the car, Barnaby is a perfect passenger, staying calm and relaxed. At home, Barnaby proved to be a mellow and respectful guest. After a big outing, he’s a great couch snuggle buddy, and he loves playing with all kinds of toys, even enjoying tug-of-war gently. Barnaby knows commands like sit, shake, and lay down, and he’s starting to learn “touch” as a new redirection technique.
Barnaby is currently placed with a skilled foster to work on some behavioral issues that have come up during his stay in the shelter. Please contact us for more information about his needs as he searches for his forever home.
