“This sweet guy came in from downtown Lander. He was found near Jefferson and Third and has a very kind demeanor. He is around six or seven years old and has some stiffness in his legs, but loves to go around the block.
Jefferson would do well in a home without other pets. He wants to be the only child, and he will give you all of his attention.”

If you find a stray animal in Lander, currently there is no animal control. We are a rescue and have limited space. Please try to advertise the animal in the neighborhood where you found it with posters, walking to ask neighbors, and posting in lost dog groups online. We can advertise on social media but are relying on foster homes to create space in our shelter. Please email foster@landerpetrescue.org if you would like to be a foster home for these pets.
