(Lander, WY) – The Lander Police Department is investigating a reported attempt to light the Lander Bar on fire early Monday morning, according to a press release shared by the LPD on December 10.
“On Monday morning at approximately 4:30 AM an individual attempted to light the Lander bar on fire,” the release states. “We are reaching out to our tight knit community for help in gathering any information regarding the individual.
In the LPD call log issued on December 10, one of the entries is labeled as an “arson” call, where the reporting party advised of “possible arson on the back part of the wooden decking area.” The call was made at 11:51 AM on Monday.
“The Lander Bar is a home for all of us here and we want to do everything we can to ensure the safety of our employees and our patrons,” the release continues. “Any information you have can be sent to Sergeant Detective Randy Lutterman at

The LPD has also informed that surveillance footage will be sent to the media for release tomorrow morning.
