County 10 was able to confirm with the LPD that the incident was a misunderstanding, and the individual in the picture was actually retrieving a package meant for them that was delivered to the wrong address. The individual’s picture has been removed from this post.
“We would continue to thank the community for their support and the quick response to get resolution and continue to watch out for each other,” the LPD also shared.
(Lander, WY) – The Lander Police Department (LPD) is asking for public assistance in identifying the subject in the picture below, according to a post shared on the LPD Facebook page on March 3.
“This person has stole(n) from a porch in our community,” the LPD post states. “If you see him or know who he is please call Lander PD so we can hopefully recover property as well as stop him from doing this more.”
