The Lander Tiger Speech and Debate team traveled to Green River this past weekend for their last regular tournament of the season.
Here are the results:
- Alex LeClair – 3rd place in Drama, Semifinals in Congressional Debate
- Loukia Savino – 1st place in Drama, 2nd place in Impromptu Speaking, 2nd place in POI (Program Oral Interpretation), and 1st place in Poetry
- Natalie Reilley – 5th place in Impromptu Speaking, Semifinals in Oratory, Semifinals in Extemporaneous Speaking
- Hadley Giesmann – 6th place in Informative Speaking
- Oliver Parrott – 6th place in Congressional Debate
The Tigers will be taking a week off to prepare for the District tournament in Rock Springs February 26th-28th.
The Lander Valley High School Speech and Debate team will also host its annual tournament March 6th-7th at Lander Valley High School, and the team is seeking volunteer judges.
