Each week, staff at Lander Valley High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Adelyn Anderson was nominated as the Lander Valley High School student of the week by Rachel Peters.
“Adelyn has been doing an amazing job in AP Calculus this year. She works really hard, asks questions when she doesn’t understand and is always quick to help out her classmates. She exhibits tremendous leadership skills and has such a bright future ahead of her.”

After high school, Adelyn will attend the University of Wisconsin for Mechanical Engineering and will participate in Track and Field for Throwing.
Adelyn is a Nike All-American, has earned All-State 3 times for Outdoor Track and 2 times for Indoor Track. She has also earned Academic Letters all 4 years of high school. In her free time she enjoys practicing for track and field, weight training, working, doing puzzles, reading, and spending time at the lake.
