Each week, staff at Lander Valley High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Araylia Ragan was nominated as the Lander Valley High School student of the week by Rachel Peters.
“Araylia has been a delight to have in AP Calculus this year. She works incredibly hard and asks insightful questions and her hard work is paying off in the class. Even when it gets difficult she maintains a positive attitude and does an amazing job!” -Rachel Peters
After high school, Araylia plans to attend Central Wyoming College for her associates and run Cross Country. Afterwards she would like to go to a dental hygiene program and become a dental hygienist.
Araylia has played Girls Soccer since her freshmen year and she is also doing Indoor Track this year. She loves to spend time with her family and friends and going on runs and to the gym.
