Each week, staff at Lander Valley High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Aspen Darr was nominated as the Lander Valley High School student of the week by (3 teachers/staff) Heidi VanLishout, Paul Primrose & Nachalo Ferris .

“Aspen comes to school on time every day and plays indoor track and softball. She is a straight-A student and also mentors in the Front Office helping with many different tasks. She has applied to three colleges and has been accepted to two of them so far. She is a diligent worker and gives her all to any task she puts her mind to. She is respectful and has great integrity. After high school Aspen plans to attend college in Florida to study Marine Biology. Aspen has earned 6 academic awards, and is active in National Honor Society and Future Business Leaders of America. She is also on the Indoor Track and Girls Softball teams. In her free time she enjoys playing pickleball and hiking. She is also on the Riverton travel softball team, Lander recreational softball team and will play on the newly added LVHS softball team which is starting this spring.
