Each week, staff at Lander Valley High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Daegan Reinhardt was nominated as the Lander Valley High School student of the week by John Rounds.
“Daegan does a tremendous job in class. She is engaged, willing to interact, and advocates for herself as needed. She works diligently during class time and puts her best foot forward in all activities.” -John Rounds
After high school, Daegan plans to attend the University of Wyoming to study Kinesiology and become a Physical Therapist.
Daegan has lettered in Swimming, Basketball and Track. She has also received All-State in swimming for the past 3 years and has also received All-State in Choir. Daegan has received Academic Letters throughout high school. She is the Student Body President and is also the NHS President. She is also the Student Representative on the Fremont County 1 School Board, helping to voice concerns for the LVHS student body. Among all these things, she also participates in the Spring Play productions.
In her free time, Daegan likes to read, crochet and spend time with her little brother.
