Each week, staff at Lander Valley High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.

Emma Jones was nominated as this week’s LVHS Student of the Week! “I have had the pleasure of working with Emma over the last two years in both of my AP Calculus classes. She is an incredibly hardworking and diligent student. She consistently asks insightful questions and thinks deeply about the content. She also has been an amazing asset to our swim team where she has done a great job leading the team and making the underclassmen feel welcomed and included. We are lucky to have her here at LVHS!” -Rachel Peters
Emma is planning to go to college and enter the medical field.
