Each week, staff at Lander Valley High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Finn Gebhart was nominated as the Lander Valley High School student of the week by Traci Darr.
“Finn has done a PHENOMENAL job as President of our Student Body this year! He has continually been on time to do morning announcements and always has fun when doing them. I look forward to his Words of Wisdom or Dad Jokes every day. He always brings a smile to my face and is so enthusiastic when doing the announcements. In my opinion, he’s the best President we’ve had! Great job, Finn!”

Finn plans to attend Fordham University in New York, NY. He wants to major in Political Science and Journalism. Over the years, Finn has been awarded with the “Baldwin Creek Comeback Award” and All-State Choir two times. He is also the Student Class President.
Finn’s hobbies include playing bass, reading, listening to music and being a chill guy. He also enjoys hanging out with friends and shopping.
