Each week, staff at Lander Valley High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Gavin Romer was nominated as the Lander Valley High School student of the week by Adam Simon.
“I have gotten to know Gav through athletics throughout his high school career. He has a desire for competition and works hard during the off season and is a good role model in that way to the younger classes. He is always polite and doesn't need to be reminded to do things in my experiences with him. He can also take a joke, which makes him fun to be around!”

Gavin’s plans after high school include playing college football and hopefully getting to live his dream of becoming “super successful!”
Gavin is a member of the National Honor Society. He is also on the Football and Track teams. He has lettered in Football
4 times, and made it to State Track after winning Regionals for Discus. In his free time, Gavin enjoys hunting and fishing with his brother, dad and grandpa. He also loves to ride dirt bikes with his buddies.
