Each week, staff at Lander Valley High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Kaleb Hamilton was nominated as the Lander Valley High School student of the week by Eric Watson …and Adam Simon.
“Kaleb not only excelled with fence construction during Ag class but he also went out of his way to help others learn techniques that they were struggling with. Kaleb was patient and kind with his explanations. Great job showing your employability and leaderships skills through the fencing unit Kaleb!” -Eric Watson
"While I have not had Kaleb in class, I have had plenty of experiences with him through athletics. He is a silent leader who works hard and leads by example. He doesn't make excuses or look for the easy way out. He also has a good sense of humor and knows how to read a room!” -Adam Simon
After high school, Kaleb plans to take over the family farm/ranch and make it a huge haying operation. He also plans to serve on the Hudson Fire Department.
Kaleb has been All-Conference and All-State for Football. He has also lettered in Football, Boys Swimming, Track and FFA. In his free time he enjoys working and riding his dirt bike. He also enjoys going hunting with his dad.
Brady Hamilton and Brandi Hamilton are the proud parents of Kaleb.
