Each week, staff at Lander Valley High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students
Kyndal McFadden was nominated as the Lander Valley High School student of the week by Heidi VanLishout.
“I have had the privilege of watching Kyndal evolve from
her Freshman to Senior year. She has always demonstrated
a great work ethic and has now developed into a great
leader to her peers. It has been fun to watch her become
the great young lady she is today. I cannot wait to see
what the future holds for Kyndal!” –Heidi VanLishout
Kyndal plans to attend Nursing school, while also playing volleyball. She has received Academic Letters all 4 years of high school. Kyndal has also lettered 4 years for Varsity Volleyball, 4 years in Girls Basketball, 2 years in Track and 2 years in Golf. She was also 3A-West All-Conference in Volleyball in 2023.
Kyndal is a member of the National Honor Society. In her free time she enjoys playing sports and hanging out with family and friends.
