Each week, staff at Lander Valley High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Micah Morgan was nominated as the Lander Valley High School student of the week by Rachel Peters.
“Micah is such a great role model for students to look up to at LVHS. He is diligent in his studies and one of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He doesn't shy away from challenges and he is always putting forth is best effort. We are lucky to have him as a student here.”

After high school Micah plans to join the Marines by either doing active duty or going to UC Boulder on a Marine Corps scholarship. He would like to earn his undergraduate for Psychology and aim to be a Counselor specializing in trauma and PTSD.
Micah has lettered in Cross Country Running and Boys Swimming and has also earned several academic awards. He is a member of NHS, and has helped with the Veteran’s Assembly the last 4 years.
In his free time Micah enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, skiing, riding dirt bikes, etc. He also enjoys spending time with friends, going to the gym and sleeping.
