Each week, staff at Lander Valley High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Twyla Beason was nominated as the Lander Valley High School student of the week by Paul Primrose.
“Twyla is a bundle of energy, positivity, and motivation. As a student in my Language Arts 12 class, she's unflappably helpful and engaged with her work and with her peers. As Student Body President, she's already demonstrated leadership and creative thinking as the Senior student council ramps up for Homecoming Week. Twyla's upbeat personality and focus is a great addition to every room she's in.” -Paul Primrose
After high school, Twyla plans to attend a University that she can also continue Nordic Skiing. She would also like to study veterinary science so that she can one day become a Veterinarian.
Twyla is the Student Body President and is also a 3-time All-State Nordic Skier. In her free time she enjoys riding horses, hiking, running and spending quality time with her friends and family.
