(LANDER, WY) – Local restaurant Mamaw’s Kitchen will be hosting a visit from America’s Best Restaurants (ABR) in late August 2024.
America’s Best Restaurants, a national media and marketing company focusing on bringing attention to local, independently-owned restaurants, will bring its ABR Roadshow to the restaurant on August 28th. Popular dishes will be highlighted, along with an extensive on-camera interview with owner Beckie Milleson about the restaurant’s special place in the community. The episode will be aired extensively on social media channels at a later date.
Mamaw’s Kitchen serves up homemade dishes in a spacious, farmhouse-style atmosphere, located within the Inn at Lander. Milleson, originally from Kentucky, prides herself on the from-scratch cooking, southern flavors, and locally sourced ingredients she offers.
Milleson has extensive experience in the food industry, and opened a catering business in 2020. The following year she had an opportunity to come to Lander and open Mamaw’s Kitchen.
“Food has always been a big part of my life, and growing up, no matter where you’re at or what the event is, we’re going to gather around the table,” Milleson told the Lander Chamber of Commerce in a 2022 interview. “Some of life’s biggest challenges have been solved around the table.”
Popular menu items that may be featured on the episode include the Dylanger Club Sandwich, the cinnamon roll French toast, and desserts such as hand-spun milkshakes, homemade pies and cakes, along with a full espresso bar.
America’s Best Restaurants also visited Mulino Italian Bistro in Lander earlier this month.
America’s Best Restaurants will be filming on location on Wednesday August 28th from 9 am to noon MST. The press is invited to attend.
