At 2:35 p.m. Monday, March 11th the Riverton Police Department received a call about a subject believed to be deceased on the Riverton Rails-To-Trails bike path.
A short time later, RPD officers arrived on the path between East Park Avenue and East Jackson Avenue. They confirmed that a male subject was deceased. The Fremont County Coroner conducted an investigation and transported the body.
Riverton Police confirmed the death Tuesday morning, but told us the incident was, “pending investigation” and that, “no further information is available at this time.”
The man’s identity or age were not released.
