(Rock Springs, WY) – The Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office has released a statement providing some details about a shooting that occurred at a residence north of Rock Springs Saturday evening.
At around 5:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2025, Sweetwater County sheriff’s deputies responded to a shooting in the 600 block of Antelope Drive, north of Rock Springs.
Deputies found an adult male with a gunshot wound. Medics transported him to a local hospital before airlifting him for further treatment.
Sheriff’s detectives are investigating. Preliminary evidence suggests the shooting occurred inside a residence during a possible disturbance between family members.
No arrests have been made. Authorities are withholding the identities of those involved and additional details pending the ongoing investigation.
