A 30-year-old man who attacked two tourists with bear spray in Yellowstone National Park has been sentenced to 6 and a half years in prison according to the Associated Press.
Jackson Coombs plead guilty to two counts of assault after he hid in a women’s bathroom last summer, wrapped his face in toilet paper, then forced himself into an occupied stall and began punching a woman in the face.
He also assaulted her male traveling companion who entered the restroom to help the woman.
Coombs sprayed both with bear spray, the woman suffered a concussion and multiple bruises and cuts to her face.
