(Wyoming) – Residents all across Wyoming and the Rocky Mountain region took to social media Wednesday evening to share different reports of a “blue-ish/green-ish fireball” that appeared to streak across the Earth.
Most local reports indicate the flash of light was seen just before 8:30 p.m. MST. Some witnesses reported hearing a strong rumbling noise that accompanied the spectacle.
What was most likely a meteor has yet to be officially reported by entities like NASA, the American Meteor Society or National Weather Service.
