(Lander, WY) – The Lady Cougars of Wind River had a strong showing at the annual Lander Invitational, scoring 107 points to finish fourth in a tournament dominated by Class 3-A and 4-A teams.
Fremont County crowned a pair of individual champions in Lander’s Andie Gibson at 140 pounds and Riverton’s Aleah Marquez at 235.

Hailee Cooper of Riverton was second at 100, and Wind River’s Molly Bornhoft was also runner-up at 105.
The Lady Cougars had seven girls medal in the event, with Aislyn Vroman, Aspen Beutler, TyAnne Cooper, Keeley Walker, Lily Miller, and Juana Hines all reaching the awards stand in their respective weights.
Lander’s Harlie Velarde also placed.
