(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commissioners convened for a regular meeting on Tuesday, May 6, and have provided the following summary of the proceedings.
- An access agreement was approved with Gregory Fuechsel to access the Heritage Trail from Double Tree Road and east to Fuechsel property.
- A Fremont County Health Benefit Plan amendment was approved to add mental health or substance use disorder care.
- The board approved supplemental amounts of $130.16 and $3,564.79 from Olson’s Auto Body & Towing for previously approved repairs to two Sheriff’s Department pickups.
- The request from the National Museum of Military Vehicles d/b/a The Canteen was approved to apply to the Town of Dubois for a catering permit for July 4, 2025.
- A memorandum of understanding was approved between Fremont County, Town of Hudson and Headwaters Economics, Inc. as the community was selected to receive technical assistance through the Headwaters Economics’ Floodwise Community Assistance Program.
- The Local Government Liability Pool (LGLP) deductible will be increased from $5,000 to $10,000 effective July 1, 2025.
