All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Gary Landrum, 55, of Mississippi is facing one count of theft.
On June 28, 2020 the Shoshoni Police Department were dispatched to a report of a stolen boat and trailer from a lot on Pike Circle.
The boat and trailer owner told authorities that he also had over $4,000 of various equipment inside of the vehicles.
On June 30, the boat owner received a phone call from the Yazoo City, Mississippi Police Department. An officer let the victim know that his boat had been located in the yard of a residence in Yazoo City.
After an investigation and coordination with Shoshoni Police, Landrum was arrested under one count of theft.
If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
