On Monday evening, County 10 reported police activity was taking place on Amy Lou Lane, near East Monroe, in Riverton.
The Riverton Police Department and Fremont County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a possibly deceased individual at 5:07 p.m.
According to a statement from the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday, the investigation is still ongoing. Sheriff’s noted that it, “appears injuries were accidental in nature and not the result of assault. Injuries were laceration/puncture in type.”
County 10 will update with any more details once released by law enforcement.
