Park County rival Cody won the Powell Invitational Wrestling tournament last weekend by a narrow seven points over Hardin, Montana. Montana schools dominated the invite, taking the next four spots in the overall team competition.
Individually, Montana wrestlers won 10 of the 14 weight divisions, with Cody winning three and Jackson Hole winning the 165-pound class.
Fremont County was paced by a runner-up finish from Wyoming Indian 285-pound wrestler Ben Niedo. Riverton was the highest-placing county team with a sixth-place team score.
The Wolverines placed seven wrestlers.
Shoshoni placed a pair of wrestlers with Brody Shepard third at 132 pounds. Lander also had two wrestlers place.
