A 64-year-old man, Reynaldo Ramos, died in a vehicle vs. motorcycle wreck just before 5:00 p.m. Wednesday on US 26/287 near Dubois.
The accident occurred near milepost 68. A witness report to County 10 and law enforcement details indicated that the motorcycle may have failed to negotiate a curve crossing into the oncoming lane of traffic, then over-corrected toward the shoulder and struck a Subaru.
The driver of the Subaru was not injured in the crash according to Wyoming Highway Patrol.
According to K2 Radio, the Wyoming Highway Patrol told reporters that speed is being investigated as a possible contributing factor and that the weather was clear and the road surface was dry at the time of the crash.
While the man’s identity was released by WHP, information about where he was from was not made available.
