(Lyman, WY) – The Wyoming Department of Transportation reported that multiple crashes along Interstate 80 westbound has forced the closure of a stretch of the interstate. A temporary detour is in place while cleanup and emergency crews respond.
As of Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. there was no estimate on the re-opening time. Road conditions in the area were listed as “slick in spots with snowfall, black ice and an extreme blowover risk” due to strong wind gusts.
