The 115th National Western Stock Show has been postponed until January 2022. Each year, the Stock Show in Denver attracts hundreds of participants and thousands of patrons from across the region, including many from Wyoming.
According to Denver TV station KMGH, Stock Show officials the event could not comply with health and safety guidelines necessary to protect patrons from the spread of COVID-19.
This will be the first time the Stock Show has been postponed since 1915.
Last year, Lander Valley High School’s Shane Dawson was the reserve grand champion in the “Catch-A-Calf” event.
