The Natrona County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Francis Behan, a Casper Reentry Center inmate who failed to return as scheduled from work-release on Aug. 17.
Behan was serving the remainder of his five-to-eight year sentence at CRC on a probation revocation with an original charge of aggravated assault and battery/attempt to injure with a weapon out of Fremont County, the NCSO said.
Behan is described as a 23-year-old Native American male, approximately six-foot-two and 290 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He has “Hustle” and “Arapahoe Warrior” tattooed on his left arm.
Those with information on the whereabouts of Francis Behan are encouraged to contact the Natrona County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Team at (307) 235-9282. If you see Behan in public, do not approach him and instead call 911 immediately. “The Natrona County Sheriff’s Office is committed to preserving the peace of our county and ensuring it is a safe place to live, work, and visit,” the release said.
The sheriff’s office notes that the Casper Reentry Center is a private correctional facility operated by Geo Group. The Natrona County Sheriff’s Office does not have any operational or management control of CRC, though crimes committed there fall under NCSO jurisdiction.
