Record high temperatures are not only likely this weekend, they’re expected in Fremont County and across the state.
High’s are forecasted to reach the upper 90’s in the Fort Washakie, Lander, and Riverton areas. Jeffrey City should crack the mid 90’s Saturday, Dubois will reach the upper 80’s Saturday and Sunday, and Atlantic City will stay in the mid 80’s.
After a sunshine-filled weekend, things will change dramatically next week with below-freezing temperatures and snow chances possible. A temperature shift of 70+ degrees is expected from Saturday afternoon to Tuesday morning.
