As of Wednesday morning, 23,750 non-Wyoming residents have submitted an application for an elk tag for the 2019 season.
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department says that’s a 2.9% increase from 2018.
According to the Cody Enterprise, there are 7,250 licenses available to non-residents.
This is also the first year the Game and Fish have charged a 2.5% processing fee on credit cards. The fee will offset the credit card processing cost.
