(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commissioners have shared the following recap of their January 7, 2025 meeting.
- An agreement was approved between Bunker Twin Properties LLC and Fremont County for the purchase of 201 E Washington Ave in Riverton, to be used for the coroner, in the amount of $445,500.00 to come out of ARPA funds.
- A contract between the Wyoming Department of Transportation and Fremont County for crack sealing was approved.
- A bid amount of $10,808.04 was approved for the ISS Department to purchase desktop computers. Amount to come out of capital revolving funds.
- The annual meeting of the Fremont County Boundary Board was held with Commissioner Larry Allen re-elected as chairman of the board and Assessor Tara Berg re-elected as secretary of the board.
- Rio Stafford was re-appointed to a four-year term on the Weed and Pest Control District Board.
- Nancy Pieropan was appointed to the remainder of a four-year term to expire 12/31/2026 on the Weed and Pest Control District Board.
