Dubois has a new mayor. John Meyer officially took over on Wednesday, January 2nd.
Meyer unseated Twila Blakeman after the November General Election, winning by a vote count of 263-173.
Blakeman presented Meyer with the oath of office at a special Wednesday morning City Concil meeting and reception.
Two new Dubois City Council members were also sworn in Wednesday. Newly elected officials include Patricia Neveaux and Bruce John Thompson. They join Rick Lee and David Bennett in the council positions.
