New police officer to be sworn in during Lander City Council meeting Tuesday

(Lander, WY) – The Lander City Council will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, in the City Council Chambers at 240 Lincoln Street.  

The agenda includes the swearing-in of new Lander Police Department Officer Thaddeus Rowney.

The Council will also consider:

• approving a Lander Municipal Airport hangar space lease agreement with Classic Air Care 
• an agreement for a construction contract for the Hunt Field Apron Reconstruction and Beacon Replacement Project
• approve a resolution authorizing the submission of a grant application to the Fremont County Recreation Board to increase the functionality and safety of the North Park ball field

The meeting is open to the public for in-person attendance and will be streamed live on Zoom.
