(Riverton, WY) – The City of Riverton welcomed a new dispatcher to the Riverton Police Department team this week.
Dispatcher Kayla Pritchard was sworn in by Mayor Tim Hancock on Tuesday after RPD Chief Eric Hurtado introduced her to the Riverton City Council.
“She brings strong communication skills, problem solving skills, and she is a good fit for her new role as a 911 dispatcher,” Hurtado said. “As she begins her career in public safety, she’s committed to supporting the community, ensuring the residents receive timely and effective assistance.”
Pritchard moved to Riverton from Montana in 2022, Hurtado said, and she has a background in retail.
“Welcome aboard,” Hancock said after administering the oath of office this week.
