The Fremont County Agriculture Appreciation Banquet is coming up this fall, and before the community gathers to celebrate local agriculture, the Riverton Chamber of Commerce is asking for help recognizing the people and businesses who make a difference in the industry.
Nominations are now open for the 2026 Ag Appreciation Awards, with four categories honoring contributions to agriculture in Fremont County:
- Ag Man of the Year and Ag Woman of the Year recognize individuals for a lifetime of contributions to the local agriculture industry and Fremont County.
- Ag Young Person of the Year recognizes someone under the age of 50 for their contributions to local agriculture and the community.
- Ag Service/Support of the Year may be awarded to a business or individual who has been a continuous supporter of the agriculture industry in Fremont County and/or Wyoming.
Community members are encouraged to think about the farmers, ranchers, young agricultural leaders, businesses and supporters who deserve recognition and submit a nomination by October 5.

Award recipients will be recognized during the Agriculture Appreciation Banquet on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Fremont Center. Doors open at 5:30 pm, with dinner beginning at 6 pm.
