(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commissioners convened for a regular meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 7, and have provided the following recap of the meeting.
- A bid for the ISS Department in the amount of $53,900 from TCI was approved for Cisco telephone systems, to come out of the Capital Revolving Fund.
- The preparation and publication of annual statements (W.S. § 18-3-515) from the County Clerk and Treasurer, Recreation Board, Museum, Fair, and Library was received by the commissioners.
- A contract with S&L Industrial for the Fremont County 2025 Striping Project was approved.
- A contract with Alexander Excavation, Inc. for the Riverview Road Reconstruction Project was approved.
- A contract for professional services and an AIA Standard Form of Agreement with Nelson Architect for the remodel of the Coroner Building was approved.
- It was approved to re-advertise for the ISS Supervisor position.
- Resolution 2025-13, a partial vacation of County Road 509 (Deer Creek Road), was approved.
- Resolution 2025-14, establishment of a county-maintained road (Painted Hills Subdivision), was approved.
- A change to the Fremont County Board appointment procedures—optional voting process—to add commissioners’ names to all ballots prior to being given to the Administrative Assistant and/or County Clerk for counting was approved.
The meeting recap included a memo indicating that county offices will be closed to the public for mandatory employee training on Columbus Day, Oct. 13.
