(Riverton, WY) – The Oilfield Ironmen Freedom Riders Chapter of Riverton hosted its annual Dice Run on June 20, raising $4,616 to benefit the Soldier’s House of Fremont County and an injured local oilfield worker.
Proceeds from the event were divided equally between the two recipients, with each receiving $2,308.
The Freedom Riders would like to thank the community for its generous support, as well as fellow chapters who traveled to participate, including the Oilfield Iron Men Twizted Steel Chapter of Casper, the Cold Steel Chapter of Saratoga, and the Big Bear Chapter.
The ride included stops at Lucky 5 in Shoshoni, Shorty’s in Thermopolis, B&K Shoreline, and Livestock Liquors. Riders gathered afterward at Livestock Liquors for a meal and silent auction, helping make the fundraiser another successful community event.
The Freedom Riders host the Dice Run each year and look forward to even greater community participation in next year’s event.
The Soldier’s House of Fremont County is dedicated to providing and facilitating confidential, supportive services to veterans and their families through volunteer and community involvement, at no cost to the veteran.
