Public Open House – Riverview Road Improvement Project

Dear Riverton Area Citizens,
A public meeting is planned Wednesday, January 8, 2025 in the City of Riverton’s Council Chambers from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to discuss the design of road and utility improvements for Riverview Road between Rein Road and Spire Drive. Also being considered are improvements to the portion of South Major Avenue between Riverview Road and Main Street.
During this open house, preliminary plans completed by J-U-B Engineers. Inc. (Formerly Sage Civil Engineering) will be available for review. Items anticipated to be reviewed include but are not limited to accesses/driveways, utility mains and services, potential conflicts with existing private infrastructure and improvements, and bicycle/pedestrian facilities.
Representatives from Fremont County, the City of Riverton, and the engineering consultant will be present to discuss the project, the scope of improvements planned, and to answer questions and receive comments.
