(Dubois, WY) – The Dubois Town Council will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, in the Council Chambers at Dubois Town Hall, 712 Meckem Street.
The agenda includes a second-reading ordinance amending the title of the Town Marshal to Chief of Police/Town Marshal.
The council will also consider two resolutions: one updating the building permit fees and charges schedule and establishing an effective date of March 26, 2026, and another authorizing the submission of a U.S. Department of Homeland Security grant application for communications and data equipment to be used by the Dubois Police Department.
There are two agenda items related to a WWTP Modification Project (Air Diffusion): consider approving and authorizing the mayor to sign the agreement with Strobel Energy Group, and consider approving and authorizing the mayor to sign a notice to proceed to Strobel Energy Group as recommended by Nelson Engineering.
Other items on Wednesday’s agenda include:
- a special event permit application for the 2026 Dubois Western Activities Association Pack Horse Race June 13-14
- two Tourism Asset Development grant applications – one from VFW Post 10056 for up to $3,000 for an LED electronic sign to be used for advertising, and another from the Dubois Western Activities Association for up to $29,600 for marketing for 2026 DWAA Summer Events
- a $1,500 TAD grant reimbursement request from the Dubois Chamber of Commerce for the Dubois Swag Bag marketing program
- a Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month proclamation for April 2026
- accounts payable
- TAD accounts payable
