(Riverton, WY) – It was a busy Thursday afternoon at the Riverton Aquatic Center in the final home meet of the season. Lander came across the valley for the Wolverine Last Chance Meet, an event that allows swimmers one final chance to meet the qualifying standard for the state swim meet next weekend in both Class 3-A and 4-A.

The highlight of the meet came on the one-meter board as Riverton senior Addison Peart set a new pool and Lady Wolverine record in an 11-dive competition. Peart had already qualified earlier in the season for the Class 4-A diving competition, but her score of 383.55 shattered all previous diving records at Riverton High School.
Riverton had two more girls meet the standard, with Gracie Heiner and Chloe Smith qualifying respectively in the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events.

“It was a good meet and a challenging meet. We had Chloe and Gracie pick up another qualifying time, which is awesome,” Riverton head swimming coach Gretta Roth said.
