(Jackson, WY) – The Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race has announced its 2026 race schedule and prize purse.
The event will begin with a Ceremonial Start on Jan. 30, 2026, in Jackson.
Participants will then cover several dynamic stages through Wyoming’s winter scenery, offering a spectacular showcase of sled dog athleticism from top teams globally.
All stages are 30-35 miles.
The 2026 race dates and schedule include:
- Stage 1 — January 31 – Pinedale, Wyoming
- Stage 2 — February 1 – Pinedale, Wyoming
- Stage 3 — February 2 – Big Piney / Marbleton, Wyoming
- Stage 4 — February 3 – Big Piney / Marbleton, Wyoming
- Stage 5 — February 4 – Kemmerer, Wyoming
- Travel Day: February 5
- Stage 6:— February 5 – Lander, Wyoming
- Stage 7 — February 6 – Dubois, Wyoming
This year’s purse totals $200,000, adding heightened excitement and competitiveness to the event.
Limited to 20 elite teams, the race opens entry applications at noon Sept. 1, 2025.
