A screening of the 2009 film “Pleasure Unwoven” at St. John Lutheran Church (606 N. 8th St. W., Riverton) on Saturday, February 28th.
The film is one of two directed by Dr. Kevin McCauley (the other being “Memo to Self,” about recovery management) that tackles the question of how addiction fits the disease model of medicine.
Using the landscape of Utah’s state and national parks, Dr. McCauley turns complex neuroscientific concepts into easy-to-understand visuals.
The film is 70 minutes and a live Q&A session will follow the viewing.
