The wait is almost over! Porter’s Fireside Fest returns this Thursday, Sept. 10, bringing an evening full of food, fire and fall fun to Porter’s Supply Co. in Riverton.
From 4–8 pm at 750 E. Sunset Drive, families can enjoy live music from The Tinderwoods, food trucks (WyoSips, WyoPhilly, and Little Cravin’s by Dulce V), a farmers market, petting zoo, FREE face painting, compliments of Porter’s with Face Painting Pro, s’mores around the fire and plenty of reasons to stick around and enjoy a September evening together.
And this year, there are a couple of competitions worth getting fired up about.
Who’s Got the Chops? Police vs. Firefighters!
The new Firewood Chopping Competition is shaping up to be one of the highlights of Fireside Fest, and now the battle lines have been drawn: Police vs. Firefighters!
Members of local law enforcement and the fire service will go head-to-head to see which team can bring the muscle, speed and chopping skills when the wood chips start flying.
Who will earn the bragging rights? There’s only one way to find out. Find a good spot, pick your team and get ready to cheer them on!
Follow the Clues and You Could Win Big
The popular Fireside Fest Scavenger Hunt is also returning, giving guests a fun reason to explore Porter’s while earning a chance at a pretty fantastic prize.
Start by picking up a Fireside Fest program from the County 10 tent or a Porter’s staff member. Inside, participants will find the scavenger hunt game and their first clue. Follow the clues throughout the store and collect a stamp at each location.
Once the hunt is complete, turn it in to be entered into the prize drawing. One lucky winner will get to choose between an Ambiance Bull Pit 1000 pellet grill or one ton of pellets.
It has become a Fireside Fest favorite over the years, so grab a program, put those detective skills to work and see where the clues take you.
Fireside Fest Kicks Off Porter’s 48th Anniversary Sale
The fun Thursday night is just the beginning. Porter’s 48th Anniversary Sale runs Sept. 10–12, celebrating 48 years of serving Wyoming with savings on BBQ, spas and hearth products, along with prize drawings with in-store purchases.
There’s also a big opportunity for anyone shopping for a new stove. Purchase any qualifying Blaze King stove between Aug. 1 and Sept. 12 and be entered for a chance to have your Blaze King stove purchase paid for.
