(Lander, WY) – The Popo Agie Quilters recently donated $1,300 to the Lander Free Medical Clinic to help provide medical services for the low-income uninsured population of Fremont County.
Over the course of the year, they have also been working on a quilt called “Healing Stars,” which was stitched together by 30 quilters and consisted of over 20 blocks of quilting.
Betsy Richardson of the Popo Agie Quilters presented the check to Kevin Wilson at the Lander Free Medical Clinic exam room in Trinity Episcopal Church.
“We are so thankful to the Popo Agie Quilters for generously donating their time and talents in a true community effort to support our patients,” Medical Clinic Executive Director Kevin Wilson shared in the press release.
“$1,300 in unrestricted funding means that we can keep doing things like buying state of the art monitoring devices and medical equipment to continue to provide the best in evidence based healthcare.”
