County 10 was notified from several readers of a power outage shortly before 4:45 p.m. Friday evening.
High Plains Power has acknowledged the outage and released the following information;
“High Plains Customers – we are experiencing a large outage in the Riverton area. We will update when we know more!
5:05pm – HPP crews and Tri-state crews are on the scene. This is a Tri-state substation that was affected and they are working to get the power restored.”
