(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commission will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 23, in the County Commissioners’ Chambers in Room 205 of the Fremont County Courthouse, 450 N. Second St. in Lander.
There is one item on the agenda: a public hearing regarding the proposed budget for fiscal year 2025-2026.
The Commission will also hold a regular meeting beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, in the same location.
The tentative agenda for Tuesday’s meeting – which is subject to change at any time – includes a budget hearing for fiscal year 2024-2025.
After a break, the Commission will conduct the following interviews:
- Barbara Townsend – Historic Preservation
- Molly Selley – Library Board
- Daniel Lobera – Museum Board
- Margaret Wells – Recreation Commission
A discussion about a MOVE funding extension with Jon Cox of Honeyfly will take place before the Commission interviews Phyllis Roseberry for the Library Board.
After lunch, the Commission will hold a library budget discussion, then adopt Fremont County’s budget for fiscal year 2025-2026.
